Moffat Mountain Rescue Team - Funding and Team Support
The team is a Scottish registered charity (No.SCO07510).
In 2004 the Scottish Government recognised the importance of civilian rescue teams and they were rewarded with some government funding. However Moffat Mountain Rescue team continues to rely on donations from individuals and companies for funding to maintain our safety equipment, and for training.
The order of St John www.stjohnscotland.org.uk has donated generously to the team contributing to the cost of our base and our newest landrover.

The team would like to recognise and thank all those who have support us and continue to donate generously to the team. Without these donations the team would not be able to continue to provide the high level of service we offer to our communities and visitors.
A special thank you to the volunteers and team members' family and friends who support our members, as well as generously giving up their time by helping support our fund raising events, including the Charity Challenge, The Annual Coffee Morning and raffle.
