Callout to Auldgirth

At 1800 on Tuesday 22 September, Dumfries Galloway Police Division requested the assistance of the team to help the Scottish Ambulance Service with the evacuation of a lady who had fallen down a steep banking in a remote area near Auldgirth and sustained an ankle injury.

The team attended with two of the team’s vehicles and 14 team members. The casualty was packaged on the team’s lightweight Titan stretcher and wheel and taken to a waiting ambulance.

We wish the casualty a speedy recovery.
