Callout to sledging accident near Moffat

Sun, 3rd Jan 2021

Late in the afternoon on 3 January 2021, the team was called by Dumfries Galloway Police Division to assist Scottish Ambulance Service and a Doctor from BASICS Scotland to evacuate a casualty who had come off his sledge near Moffat and dislocated his knee.

The team loaded the casualty who was already on a spinal board onto the team’s light titanium Titan stretcher, then the team and ambulance personnel carried him to the waiting ambulance.

We wish the casualty a speed recovery.
