Callout for missing person near Carronbridge, Thornhill
Sun, 25th Sep 2022The Team were called by Dumfries Galloway Police Division to search for a missing person at Carronbridge (Thornhill area) near midnight on Friday 23rd September. Team members assembled and additional help was requested and received from Galloway Mountain Rescue Team and SARDA Southern Scotland. The teams searched through the night and thankfully the missing person was located safe by Police at first light, outside the search areas.
The team then reassembled with some wearier but enthusiastic members on Saturday morning, to help manage safety for the Two Breweries Hill Race between Traquair and Broughton in the Borders.
