At 1351 on 30 June 2021 the team were called by Police Scotland to assist in the rescue of a lady who had fallen and had a suspected broken ankle on Tinto Hill. 6 Team members along with 5 from the Strathclyde Police Scotland MRT made their way to the scene. 

A Scottish Ambulance Paramedic administered pain relief and the casualty was then transferred to the teams lighweight stretcher fitted with a wheel. She was then evacuated from the hill and handed over to the ambulance service for onward transport to hospital.The team wish the casualty a speedy recovery The team is run entirely by volunteers and is funded mostly by public donations if you thinkyou may be able to help the work of the team please visit our just giving page
